Miaou and adidas Originals Drop Second Collab

Adidas Originals just released the second round of the collaboration everyone has been waiting for. Reuniting with Alexia Elkaim’s Miaou, their latest joint venture expands upon the sportswear-themed first installment, this time diving into early 2000s references, soccer fervor, and WAG culture.

Appearing to use Victoria Beckham as their muse, this latest collaboration aims to reinterpret “sideline style” by examining one of the sports world’s most stylistically inspiring eras. The collection takes cues from off-field fashion, closely studying the understated elegance and femininity surrounding it.

Showcasing a new edition of the Megaride profile, the fresh sneakers sport a sleek leather upper, silicone-embossed stripes, and debossed co-branded embellishments. Arriving in two color schemes, the initial sneaker appears in silver with orange highlights, followed by light blue with silver highlights.

The clothing line consists of a shirt, a light blue corset, and a set of white nylon track pants. The shirt features a “Miaou Sport” graphic in the middle, along with a custom emblem, matte piping, and a curved hem. Then, the corset, crafted with bungee cords on its side sections, elastic shoulder straps, and embroidered co-branding. Finishing off the collection are the unmistakably 2000s yet still very cool Nylon Pants, updated with hidden zippers and embroidered logos.

Commemorating the release is a brand-new campaign featuring soccer player Riccardo Calafiori and model Alyson Dubey, shot in the ever-iconic style of early 2000s paparazzi photos.
