The Ordinary is extending its zeal for accessibility onto the streets of New York City. With the aim of enhancing its skincare philosophy of “eliminating unnecessary obstacles to offer accessible, premium products,” the brand has launched the Ordinary Bus. This complimentary express shuttle service connects Domino Park to Prospect Park, making a traditionally time-consuming journey significantly more convenient for commuters in Brooklyn, New York.
“In a city celebrated for its fragmented crosstown transportation options, which often necessitate a 50+ minute subway detour via Manhattan, the Ordinary Bus presents a direct, efficient, and complimentary path,” according to a brand press release. “By reducing commute times by half, The Ordinary is fulfilling its commitment to broaden the accessibility of essential commodities.”
The Ordinary Bus will operate from May 26 until June 9, running Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beyond its complimentary fare, the bus does not require pre-registration. Passengers can monitor its progress on the company’s website.
