Gen Z’s favorite lingerie brand, Cou Cou, has launched its Summer 2026 campaign, and it is a stunning tribute to nostalgic girlhood with a dash of defiance. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the English countryside, founder Rose Colcord takes us back to the inception of the brand, to where she first imagined its essence.
“Reflecting on it, it almost feels unfeasible to detach the rural setting from the very identity of the brand. Here, I started envisioning a different path for women and a novel concept of femininity and liberation: a brand that acknowledged the unspoken reality of our feminine, lived experience,” disclosed Colcord.
Photographed by Lauren Leekley and starring models Alana Champion, Noor Mutsaers, and Rachelle Harris, we witness the collection unfolding through an ethereal series of visuals. The lineup introduces French Blossom, marking the brand’s maiden foray into cotton voile prints. The fragile, vintage-inspired floral patterns adorn two novel garment styles: the scoop-neck Jardin Dress and the shorter Jardin Mini, both accentuated with enchanting bodices and French lace trim. Iconic brand staples like the Iris Slip and Iris Tank also make a comeback, crafted from lightweight, hypoallergenic organic cotton voile. This is precisely the aesthetic we associate with the moodboard of French New Wave cinema and the contents of Jane Birkin’s closet.
You can look forward to continuous summer releases throughout June and July, and indeed, this will incorporate the current fan-favorite Rina top in fresh color variations, noticed on personalities from Sabrina Carpenter to Kaia Gerber. Cou Cou masterfully captures the summer sentiment of running barefoot through fields, engrossed in a book in the tall grass, dreaming, and merely being present, and this is precisely how we desire to spend our summer.
The collection is now available on the brand’s online store and at its New York pop-up shop, which runs until June 20.
