Wales Bonner and Adidas Originals return for the latest season, blending the performance and elegance of athletics with opulence for another stunning collection. As typical, the apparel is exquisite, converting the design elements of sports such as soccer and jogging into elevated, stylish pieces. This season, however, the shoes capture the limelight.
Following the Wales Bonner Samba’s single-handed revival of fashion’s passion for soccer aesthetics, the designer is re-envisioning the Gazelle this time around. Debuting in both snake skin and pony hair, the sleek sneaker arrives in sumptuous, dark brown, premium leather. The blend of patterns and materials adds depth to a shoe that’s already a favorite in trendsetting circles, enhancing the sneaker from bold colorways to a sophisticated, upscale style.
The Karintha sneaker pays tribute to classic Adidas football shoes, arriving in timeless black with white stripes. The Wales Bonner emblem is printed on the side above the stripes in gold, with a cognac-colored toe cap finishing the vintage aesthetic. Hand-crafted in Brazil, a breezy, woven iteration of the sneaker was crafted for the summer warmth.
Completing the footwear offering for SS26, the Adizero Adios is a performance sneaker re-imagined through a stylish perspective. Arriving in a similar shade of brown as the broader collection, the mesh upper is enclosed by leather stripes, suede detailing, and contrasting stitching.
The fresh Adidas Originals x Wales Bonner collection will become available for purchase beginning April 17 on the Adidas website and at select retailers.
