The third edition of the ongoing Adidas Originals x ASOS collaboration isn’t just a development of its earlier collections, it stands on its own in terms of style, cuts, and color scheme. Contrasting the autumnal feel of the prior release, the newest range offers a more delicate, feminine selection of athletic wear that reimagines the brand’s iconic designs through an ASOS perspective.
The new collection introduces innovative versions of Adidas’ classic Firebird track suits, collared jerseys, and micro shorts, integrating avant-garde silhouettes and patterns. Shorts, for instance, are enhanced with lace edging and satin fabrics to mellow the athletic foundation, making them perfect for warmer weather styling. To define the fluid forms, cotton blouses are sharply cut with a funnel-neck while the emblematic three stripes highlight the shoulders.
Further weaving a feminine theme through the collection, polka dots and a peplum design are brought into a track jacket, and another matching set incorporates exquisite ruching details and balloon-style pants. In addition, collegiate polo tops, impactful ensembles, and contemporary separates complete the spring-ready attire with a whimsical twist.
To honor the release of the fresh collection, ASOS is hosting the ultimate pop-up experience this week at the Adidas Oxford Street shop in London. Consumers can explore the collection, capture some photos in a kiosk, and listen to DJ performances from Cassie and Jada-Kai. A representative of Adidas stated, “The Adidas Originals x ASOS launch expands on the buzz from previous collections while taking our partnership to a more comprehensive, immersive experience for our customers.”
