Diesel has officially launched its inaugural women’s fragrance under the creative direction of Glenn Martens. “ONLY DESIRE” is portrayed by the label as “a daring statement capturing the transformative power of women’s desire in today’s world.” To commemorate this debut, the label enlisted Dove Cameron as the star of a steamy campaign that embodies the scent’s contemporary interpretation of femininity.
“In embarking on this new venture, our aim was to encapsulate the essence of Diesel: a declaration of self-assurance, independence, and self-expression,” Glenn Martens comments in a press statement. “From the fragrance itself to the bottle’s design, every component incorporates sensuality and attitude. The fragrance is gentle yet commands attention. The same dichotomy is mirrored in Dove Cameron, the campaign’s spokesperson, who effortlessly blends intensity with softness.”
Housed in a glass orchid-shaped bottle, “ONLY DESIRE” empowers its wearers with its evocative amber and floral essences. It begins with refreshing notes of bergamot oil, aldehydes, pear, and banana. Then, it transitions into undeniable allure with cumin oil, vanilla orchid, jasmine grandiflorum from India, and rum. Finally, it concludes on a sweet, yet comforting note with vanilla bourbon from premium Madagascar, praline, and ambery woods.
“ONLY DESIRE” is priced at $96 USD and can be purchased through the brand’s online store.
Elsewhere, Marc Jacobs Beauty has announced its return.
