Pioneering shoe designer Empty Behavior is joining forces with ASICS in an ideal partnership that combines elegance and edgy style. They have chosen the sleek Hypersync design, where the two parties are reimagining customary sports looks with a subtle, refined flair.
The most notable aspect of this collaboration is the innovative adaptation of ASICS’ famous tiger stripes. By replacing the usual solid layers, Empty Behavior has reconceptualized the intersected lines into sophisticated, pleated textile frills. It represents a perfect fusion of classic ballet-inspired romanticism with modern urban attire.
This release showcases two unique color schemes, crafted from a light blend of synthetic material and perforated air mesh fabric. For those with a gothic inclination, “Black Breeze” provides a somber, enigmatic foundation complemented with unexpectedly delightful hints of delicate pink. If you lean towards a pristine style, the “White/Pure Silver” version presents an easy, adaptable allure. Sticking true to the Hypersync’s understated design tenet, the sneaker boasts an amply cushioned tongue, dual branding on the front compartment, and a super-thin, foot-hugging sole structure.
The Empty Behavior x ASICS Hypersync line is scheduled to debut later in the year. Stay alert for the official launch date to be announced.
Meanwhile, in other news, Nike is introducing a pink soccer ball-themed Total 90 sneaker.
