BTS’ J-Hope has partnered with Louis Vuitton for an exciting new sneaker collaboration, and this edition is delightfully pink. The vocalist became a representative for the French fashion powerhouse in 2023, and following countless appearances in the front row and promotional events, his taste in fashion is now reflected on LV’s retail shelves this year.
Conceived in a joint effort with Pharrell, the sneaker successfully blends streetwear with opulence. Utilizing Louis Vuitton’s BUTTERSOFT model, the shoe boasts a pastel pink upper crafted from plush suede. Chocolate brown leather tags are affixed to the shoe’s tongue and toe cap, inscribed with “HOPE” and the Louis Vuitton branding, respectively.
Generously-sized pink laces feature the text “Louis Vuitton” and “Your, My Hope,” a nod to the singer’s stage name on this soft-hued footwear.
On the lateral side, the Louis Vuitton monogram is rendered in a pink hue complemented by a white shadow. Dual-colored midsoles furnish the sneakers with a cohesive pink and white color scheme for a monochromatic finish. The rubber outsoles offer grip, with miniature Louis Vuitton logos enhancing both traction and style.
Including Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogrammed heel caps, often seen on handbags and travel goods, this is shaping up to be one of the most sought-after high-end footwear collaborations of the year.
