Stella McCartney Drops H&M Collaboration

H&M has just officially debuted its brand new collaboration with Stella McCartney, initially hinted at during the Fashion Awards in London last year. This marks the second collaboration between McCartney and the brand, with the first occurring 20 years ago. The collection builds on H&M’s 25-year legacy and capitalizes on its accessible approach to designer fashion.

The collection features a range of clothing and accessories, merging Stella’s signature styles with archive-inspired pieces. Highlights include sweeping coat-dresses, crisp tailoring, and oversized blouses, matched with Stella’s glamorous prints and catchphrases.

“I view this collection as an exploration of my fashion journey. It’s a genuine blend of current classics along with some of my all-time favorites that reflect my initial steps in fashion and the evolution of my signature looks. It’s fun, powerful, dazzling, gleeful, sophisticated,” McCartney expressed about the collection.

In addition to timeless tailoring and adorned items, the collection also showcases an array of ribbed, knitted dresses and tops embellished with Stella’s signature Falabella chain, reminiscent of one of the brand’s most iconic bag designs. The collection rounds out with a selection of six bag models, recycled metal jewelry, and chain-accented loafers.

Focusing on Stella’s commitment to sustainability, the collection prioritizes recycled materials, organic wool, and the utilization of “feedstock” in its coated textiles, drawing from sources such as recycled vegetable oil and industrial corn.

“Stella has consistently held an adventurous vision for fashion, and this collection maps her path from a youthful, boundary-pushing creative to a maestro of enduring style. Every single piece in the collection is covetable and conveys a singular, daring narrative,” adds Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Consultant and Head of Design for women’s wear at H&M.
