Central to this partnership is the butterfly, a classic emblem in Needles’ extensive design portfolio. Beyond being an attractive embellishment, the butterfly symbolizes exquisite metamorphosis and flexibility. It also represents the well-known butterfly guard position in BJJ, showcasing the grace and perseverance characteristic of both Japanese artistry and martial arts ideology.
Marrying a retro sportswear ambiance with robust athletic materials, the line falls into the sweet spot between upscale workout attire and high-quality streetwear. Headed by actual Jiu-Jitsu athletes, the promotion remains energetic, thoroughly genuine, and intensely rooted in the community.
The Needles x Albino & Preto collection will be purchasable from June 11 on the Albino & Preto online store and mobile app, in addition to in-store at Nepenthes Los Angeles and New York.
